God Has Nothing To Do With Our Poverty!
“Bo, you’re wrong. Poverty is a matter of fate…”
He came up to me right after I gave a talk on financial literacy. The man spoke to me with the gravity of a Supreme Court Justice, it scared me.

Yes, If You Use Your Own Prayer Language.
Do you struggle praying daily?
I did. For years.
But no matter what I felt, I prayed anyway. That was the “teaching” and “rule” for good Christians like me.
If you don’t have one, get one–Quick!
I got interviewed again.
A number of times, in fact.
This time, the questions were focused on dreaming big dreams.
So I’m putting together a bunch of questions and answers from these interviews. I know they will inspire you. And make you laugh at the same time. Because of so many interviews, giving crazy answers keeps me sane.
Your True Size Is Measured By Your Courage, Wisdom, and Love.
Even as a baby elephant, Bulig was big.
As Bulig grew up, he was taller and bigger than all his playmates.

Today, I’ll be asking you to take the next step: Make Joy Appointments.
By Your Words And Thoughts,
You’ll Determine If You’ll Enjoy The Journey Or Not
I’m flying again.
On Wednesday, I’m starting a fast, blistering, non-stop 10-day trip to US and Canada. In those 10 days, I’ll be preaching in 10 cities. No joke. From Los Angeles to San Francisco to Vancouver to New Jersey to Maryland… (invite your friends to join me. Click here for my complete itinerary.)
It all started when my plane to Cebu was delayed by 5 hours.
While my fellow-passengers around were acting like enraged volcanoes spewing lava, cursing the catastrophe that befell upon us—I smiled and closed my eyes. Instantly, I felt peace. I whispered, “Lord, you have a special surprise in store for me.”
“Lord, help me to bless people today.”
That’s my daily morning prayer… uh, when I’m happy.
And usually, I am.
But once in awhile, I don’t wake up happy.
And usually, it’s because of a difficult person in my life.
Many of them emotional. Pained. Smudged with tears.
Okay, that’s not true. Blog comments on the web don’t get wet. But I imagined that if they were written on paper, they’d look like used tissue paper after my wife watches a Bea Alonzo-John Lloyd telenovela. (You can read the flood of comments in my previous post, Do You Have A Difficult Person In Your Life?)
