Apple’s Fastest iPhone Yet

The Apple iPhone 3Gs has been out for some time now, but it still never fails to wow users with its speed and efficiency when it comes to switching apps and navigating through the device’s innovative menus.

Hailed for being the fastest, most powerful iPhone, the iPhone 3Gs proved to be hugely popular when it was released in America in June 2009 and, with its new and improved capabilities, shows many users thinking about switching their old 3Gs for the better model.

Clocking up to 32GB in the more powerful models – blowing the 3Gs’ 16 gig maximum out of the water – the iPhone 3Gs has plenty of things to boast about. Operating with the iPhone Operating System 3.0, the new device totes faster operation, impressive user speeds and quick access to all of your favourite applications. It runs a 833MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor – shaming previous processors of 620MHz – and doubles the RAM of previous models, operating with 256MB.

All of these let the iPhone 3Gs run at stunning speeds, letting users access the features and apps they want to quickly and without delay. This isn’t to say that the old iPhones were slow – far from it – but when compared with the 3Gs, it becomes clear that speed makes a difference.

Other improvements to the new phone are the addition of an extra megapixel on the camera, including video capabilities now, as well as several camera features like tap to focus, exposure and white balance. The latest iPhone seems to be intent on cashing in on the market’s desire for bigger and better phones with better all-rounder capabilities, meaning that Apple has had to spend some time and attention on the camera. After all, when some phones from Nokia and Sony Ericsson are coming out with nearly professional-style cameras, the market for camera phones is becoming increasingly tough.

Luckily for Apple, it’s always going to have the music side of things down pat. Combining its iPod music technology into its iPhone, the smartphone becomes an MP3 player in its own right, with the same high quality expected of Apple’s music offerings. Users can simply hook their iPhone to their computer and download music in much the same way as they would with an iPod.

The iPhone 3Gs is Apple’s fastest phone yet, and will be appearing in mobile phone deals on UK shelves across the nation.
